Upcycle to build homes!
Habitat for Humanity Dutchess ReStore will again host our very own version of Flea Market Flip – The ReStore ReDo. This event features local community individuals, from novice to experienced Do It Yourself-ers (DIY-ers), “re-doing” or “flipping” an item selected from the ReStore. All ReDo projects will ultimately be sold and the funds raised will support the Habitat mission to build safe and financially sustainable housing in Dutchess County. Since 1986, Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County has built 34 homes right here in our local community. This coming year, we will build 4 more forever homes!
Registration for the ReDo is August 8 through September 6 and the $25 is due at time of registration. Registration for Youth ReDo also begins August 8 and is open until we reach our limit of 20. Beginning September 6 through September 10, each “ReDo-er” will be able to choose one piece from our ReDo designated items to take home to “redo”! Finished pieces are due back in the ReStore by October 15 and will be on display until October 28.
The Auction opens October 18 and voting begins! Voting closes October 26 and the Auction closes October 27 with the grand finale event at the ReStore set for October 28.
